Murrells Inlet, South Carolina - Bars and Nightlife
"With Barefoot Landing’s best fresh seafood, lively events throughout the week, and killer happy hour deals, Flying Fish is a prime spot for a lively night out on the town. Nosh on everything from fresh oysters and local shrimp to crab cakes and fresh catch features. Sip on craft cocktails and savor the local cuisine as you take in the beautiful water views!"
"Flying Fish is half-seafood-market and half-restaurant, serving the freshest seafood in town. If you’re feeling adventurous, try catching the “flying fish” from the chefs at the raw bar. For the freshest fish, ask your server for the fish of the day selection."
"The Hot Fish Club is perfect for a night out on the town, and can accommodate a variety of allergy-specific diets. Hot Fish Club specializes in seafood and steak, so we recommend their Surf & Turf platter to taste a little bit of everything. Their Flounder Platter hits the spot when you're looking for something fresh but not too filling."
"With TVs lining the walls and around the bar area, you can catch every game and not miss a minute of the action. Aside from entertainment, King Street Grille also has amazing food. They offer all of the traditional American bar food you would expect but with their own twist."
"A fun Myrtle Beach fixture, Wet Willie’s is known for its 20 daiquiri machines doling out colorful “grown-up slushies.” As well as bar bites and a festive atmosphere, strong drinks with clever names like “Attitude Improvement” AND “CALL A CAB” pair well with tasty grub. Choose from cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, nachos, and fries … all of which you can enjoy on the open-air patio. A post shared by Wet Willie’s (@wetwillies_) on May 31, 2015 at 6:23pm PDT"

"Melt is a great lunch, dinner, or late night spot for even the pickiest of eaters!. From handcrafted grilled sandwiches to delicious wood fired pizzas, we promise there is something for everyone at this industrial styled dining spot. Melt is open 7 days a week from 11:00am until 2:00am."
"Like the name implies, dinner and drinks here are a live science experiment. This downtown Myrtle beach restaurant specializes in molecular gastronomy, with bizarrely-good plates like root beer, sesame-glazed, sous-vide lamb ribs over an artichoke quinoa risotto or scallops served over wakame, with sweet Thai butter and lemon “caviar.” Many of the drinks come smoking or served in lab equipment, like the frosty “flux capacitor” with St Germaine, Tito’s Vodka, lemon juice, house-made blackberry simple syrup, muddled mint leaves and a soda floater."
"If you’re looking for a unique dining experience check out The Chemist, located at 300 9th Avenue North. Try one of their craft cocktail concoctions served in a beaker glass while you browse the menu. Order an experiment (a Chemist appetizer) like ahi poke tuna or sweet potato tots served with a bacon maple dip."
"When was the last time you sat down to eat at a restaurant and a glass of liquid with smoke coming out of it was placed on your table?. I appreciate chefs and mixologists that are ambitious and artistic. This is clearly exhibited at the Chemist, making it a must on this Myrtle Beach Restaurants Guide!"
"Located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, Bumstead's Pub is a touch of Europe just off the beach. Bumstead's old English Pub offers over 150 brands in their selection!"
"For a fun snapshot of your vacation, get all dressed up and go to Joe’s Bar and Grill for happy hour or a delicious meal at sunset. Their picturesque patio has an unbeatable view of a pristine saltwater marsh, which glistens as the sun goes down, and a cozy fireplace to keep you warm if the night air turns cool."
"Joe’s Bar and Grill is a North Myrtle Beach staple for over 30 years. They are open and serving both indoor and outdoor dining. Their Racoon Cove Deck Bar has become the Grand Strand’s best kept secret."
"The service was excellent and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing!. This is definitely one of the nicer/ classier restaurants in..."
"This incredible art museum opened in 1997 and already features one of the best collections of art in the city!. With a number of antique maps and other old works, this acclaimed art museum is sure to catch the attention of everyone in your family—including your kids. Excite their imaginations by exposing them to some of the greatest recent works of art along with ancient and antique guild pieces that you’ll just have to see to believe."
"Opened to the public in 1997, the Myrtle Beach Art Museum is the only art museum in the area, and it showcases 4 distinct collections of art. The museum also offers educational and creative programs for people of all ages. View this post on Instagram"
"Known as the “Original Hibachi House” it’s easy to tell what this eatery specializes in. Jimmyz Hibachi has three locations across the Grand Strand, all of which whip up mouthwatering Hibachi dishes. This fast and casual restaurant is widely recognized for its delicious $5 Chicken Bowl, but the menu also features other items like Fried Rice Bowls (with chicken, steak, or shrimp), Noodle Bowls (with chicken, steak, or shrimp), Veggie Bowls, Hibachi Salads, Hibachi Wraps, Soups, and more."
"Break the burgers-and-fries routine for some excellent Japanese cuisine that's good to go in more ways than one. Chef and owner Jimmy is a bit of a local legend, operating several other Japanese restaurants and catering services over the years, but now he has his own place and a loyal local following. Patrons can dine in, but the carry-out window makes for a quick and convenient way to enjoy a hot meal at home or your hotel room."
"E Noodles & Co on 20th Avenue South was the first restaurant Noah and I went to for dinner in Myrtle Beach many years ago. We walked over from Hampton Inn & Suites Myrtle Beach Oceanfront (About 10 minutes) after an employee at the hotel told us she heard they had amazing veggie dishes. Noah loved the vegetable fried rice and we added tofu to ours with Edamame on the side."
"Our menu has a variety of items to choose from including Asian Noodle Dishes, Fresh Rolls, Chicken, Beef & Seafood Entrees and much more. Come try our Fried Ice..."
"Yamato’s claims to be South Carolina’s original Japanese Steakhouse. The dining room is dim and communal with the clinking and clattering of utensils on the flat top griddle only interrupted by random spurts of laughter, thrilled by the Teppanyaki theatrics – most people are in awe of the onion volcano but the showstopper is when the chef molds the mound of rice into the shape of an heart and then uses his spatula to make it look like its beating. If you’re fortunate, chef Ken will roll his cart to your table."
"Take a quick trip to Japan during your Myrtle Beach stay with this delicious sushi and hibachi restaurant. Yamato Steakhouse has been a local and visitor favorite for years at Broadway at the Beach…and we don’t see that changing anytime soon!. Enjoy grilled seafood, beef, poultry, vegetables, fried rice, and sushi all while your chef cooks and entertains right in front of you."
