7 Spots for a Fulfilling Breakfast in Myrtle Beach
"Voted “best restaurant with a view” and “most romantic” by The Sun News; Gulfstream Cafe is the only restaurant on the Strand overlooking the ocean on one side and Murrells Inlet on the other. Watch the sun set from the upstairs bar or deck while enjoying She-Crab soup or jumbo lump Crab Cakes."
"It was our first time eating at the Gulfstream and it was wonderful experience. The service was wonderful, even in the midst if this pandemic loss of help."
"Another relaxed breakfast restaurant serving up the comfort classics, Eggs Up Grill offers a few locations in North Myrtle Beach. We love their home-made Corned Beef and Hash, and their Breakfast Wrap is to die for. They offer a huge selection of breakfast sandwiches, and you can choose whether you want them on a bagel, bread, biscuit or even a muffin!"
"Another breakfast hot spot is the Eggs Up Grill, which serves up everything from French toast and breakfast sandwiches to burgers, wraps, and salads until 2 pm each day. Heart-healthy and gluten free options make it an excellent choice for those with dietary restrictions. A post shared by Eggs Up Grill (@eugrill) on May 2, 2017 at 7:09am PDT"
"One of the few places in the state of South Carolina where khachapuri is a staple on the menu. The traditional Georgian meal of cheese-filled, boat-shaped bread with a fresh egg is a nod to the owner’s heritage. While the khachapuri is always tempting, there’s also crepes galore — selections with salmon or Nutella, and even one with bacon-wrapped shrimp."
"Their old fashioned buttermilk pancakes are everything you want in a pancake and more – with plenty of toppings and combos available. The Southern Pancake House gives customers the true southern experience, with country classics like shrimp and grits, country fried steak, and more. Their famous omelettes nearly rival their pancakes – but overall, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!"
"Less than two blocks from the shore, Harry’s Breakfast Pancakes is the perfect spot before an all-day beach trip. Their menu is complete with fresh ingredients that will leave you feeling full and satisfied before you head over for a day in the sun. With pineapples, coconut, strawberries and more as pancake toppings, you’re bound to find something that hits the spot."
"Harry’s Breakfast Pancakes is known for their exceptional customer service as well as their scrumptious breakfast. They combine the freshest ingredients with the best comfort foods creating a wonderful breakfast experience. Their menu includes everything from eggs benedict and omelets to waffles, pancakes, and french toast."
"Duck Donuts is one of the cutest donut shops on the Grand Strand. Pick up made-to-order donuts in traditional and nontraditional flavors like maple icing with chopped bacon, s’mores or cinnamon sugar with vanilla drizzle. Duck Donuts is open from 6:30 a.m."
"Friends HAD me stop because they "have the best donuts." Cake donuts are not that expensive to make. Both times I've ate here you could ta..."
"E Noodles & Co on 20th Avenue South was the first restaurant Noah and I went to for dinner in Myrtle Beach many years ago. We walked over from Hampton Inn & Suites Myrtle Beach Oceanfront (About 10 minutes) after an employee at the hotel told us she heard they had amazing veggie dishes. Noah loved the vegetable fried rice and we added tofu to ours with Edamame on the side."
"There used to be two locations, but this is the only one left. What’s great about E Noodles is they take their dishes a half-step above typical Asian fare (try the crispy-fried tofu), but they don’t take it up so far that it’s too pricey."
"When it comes to Chinese restaurants, I tend to prefer the local mamason-and-papasan stores over the fortune cookie-cutter chains. But one stop at P.F. Chang's changed my mind about this national treasure."
"For our sushi lovers out there, King Kong Sushi is a must stop for delicious and fresh Asian cuisine!. Their menu features exciting sushi roll options such as their 007 Roll and Russian Roulette Roll. For those that aren’t sushi fans, they also serve traditional Japanese hibachi style dishes."
"After a busy day exploring Broadway at the Beach several years ago, we weren’t sure where to eat, as vegan options here seemed daunting. But when we passed by King Kong Sushi we decided to give this Asian bistro a try. The outdoor patio facing Lake Broadway sealed the deal."
"This family-owned business since 2015 serves veggie-friendly menu items for breakfast and lunch, like their organic kombucha on tap smoothies blended with local, organic microgreens, wraps, acai bowls, organic tofu and chickpeas, and a tofu scramble – and that’s just the start of the kindness fed to your belly."
"KindBelly is the perfect little spot where vegetarians can grab a quick salad, wrap, grain bowl, or smoothie. KindBelly offers a variety of options for each of their items. Any of their salad options can be turned into a wrap or sandwich."
"King Kong is a fitting symbol for the enormous sushi rolls this place twists up for its guests. Located in the popular Broadway at the Beach shopping, dining and entertainment complex, King Kong offers excellent sushi, sashimi and hibachi dishes in a relaxed setting. Hardwood floors and tables with large-leaf ceiling fans create an enjoyable environment for couples, friends and families, and the wide range of Japanese cuisine ensures there's something on the menu for everyone."
"Bombay at the Beach is one of the top spots to grab Indian cuisine in Myrtle Beach. This restaurant hosts a lunch buffet as well as offers a menu that is full of tasty items. Start your meal with a soup or a vegetarian appetizer such as an assorted selection of Samosas and Pakora (think similar to fritters)."
"This spot is a must for vegans, as the staff is very friendly and accommodating and will make sure any vegetarian dish you order is prepared vegan-style. Pro tip: Come hungry for the lunch buffet."
